Objective and boundary
Organs are bounded specialist workers or services separated from conversational interfaces. They register, report status and return evidence; they do not set direction, create authority or act without an approved scope.
Implemented and designed parts
Existing foundations include registry and heartbeat patterns, telemetry, production and development harness work, and controlled evidence verification. Non-AI services, tools, specialist models and interface surfaces are distinct categories, not interchangeable labels.
Failure and governance
Degraded status and graceful failure should be reported rather than hidden. Workshop may present bounded work; it does not establish unrestricted inter-organ action or complete autonomous orchestration.
Sources and provenance
Public-safe summary from canonical result records, design locks and the Engineering Journal source registers. Internal paths, startup details and sensitive topology are withheld.
