Evidence and External Memory

A record discipline for preserving context, provenance and decisions across long-running engineering work. Memory is not treated as proof, and documentation is not treated as implementation evidence by itself.

Purpose and public status

We keep durable records of engineering decisions and validation so work can resume with its context. Our 3 October review confirms these practices in bounded implementations.

Public evidence and limits

Claim: Evidence and lineage are explicit engineering artefacts in Nivren's documented workflow.

Result: Evidence records and recovery behaviour were validated in bounded implementations.

Limit: These results do not show that every product component shares complete or error-free memory.
