Privacy
Privacy information.
This notice explains how YewForge Digital handles personal information in connection with this website, email enquiries, our social profiles and support through Ko-fi. It also says where the NivKode desktop app sends a conversation that uses Codex.
This website
This website does not use forms, analytics or advertising trackers to collect information. The site is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical hosting logs, such as visitor and request information, to provide and secure the service; GitHub controls those logs. See GitHub's information about data collection for Pages and its Privacy Statement.
Nivren and NivKode
In the NivKode desktop app, new conversations start on a local model when one is installed. When a conversation uses Codex, NivKode sends that conversation to the provider of your signed-in Codex account (for example OpenAI or Amazon Bedrock), under your own account.
Email and social profiles
An email enquiry provides the sender address and any information included in the message. The information is used to respond and handle the enquiry, and correspondence is kept only as long as needed for that purpose or related legal requirements. Our email is hosted by Google (Gmail). Requests about information held can be sent to yewforge.partnerships@gmail.com.
Social profiles are hosted by third-party platforms. Those platforms may process information under their own privacy notices and settings; YewForge does not control their data handling.
Support through Ko-fi
If you support us through Ko-fi, Ko-fi and its payment providers handle the payment under their own privacy notices. We receive only the supporter details that Ko-fi shares with us, and we use them to record and acknowledge support and to keep the financial records the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive information you provided in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, that consent can be withdrawn. Requests can be sent to the email above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
