Koda System Map

A public technical map of Koda’s interaction, orchestration, service, model, evidence, observability and research layers.

CURRENTLast reviewed: 15 July 2026Evidence classes: IMPLEMENTED · DESIGNED · PLANNED

Legend and reading boundary

Current implemented current boundary; Partially implemented bounded working evidence; Planned or dormant design or research boundary. Labels and text, not colour alone, convey status.

Conceptual map: this is not deployed network topology, active service topology, security architecture or evidence of a complete Koda OS.

Layered operating environment

Koda is organised as bounded layers: human authority; interaction surfaces; Workshop orchestration; specialist organs and services; local and research model work; evidence and state; observability; and dormant security research. A layer may be current, partial, planned or dormant without implying that all layers are active.

Human authority

Approval, rejection and return remain human decisions.

Interaction

Core Shard, Shard Field direction and future surfaces.

Orchestration

Forge Workshop and governed work.

Services

Organ Runtime provides bounded capability.

Models

Nano Factory remains research only.

Evidence

Evidence and External Memory constrains claims.

Observability

Observatory and Timeline provide read-only state.

Research boundary

Security research remains dormant.

Current-state disclaimer

This map is a layered technical guide, not evidence that every node is implemented or operating. Capability does not imply authority.

Sources and provenance

Public-safe summary from canonical result records, design locks and the Engineering Journal source registers. Internal paths, startup details and sensitive topology are withheld.
